Noose of a Different Color

If we’re going to stamp out racism in this country and lead the world in doing the same, we can’t apply the standards to one race and not another – isn’t that the very definition of racism?

There are many things that can be said about Iranian President Ahmadinejad, all of which are true; he's a fascist, homophobic terrorist.  For the Democrats (hereafter ‘Socialists’; Democratic Party hereafter 'Socialist Party') in the U.S., these traits are acceptable, even admirable amongst themselves when there aren’t any Americans around to catch them in their sedition.

But one of the Socialist Party's darlings is racism; wherever they find it, real or perceived, it is condemned, panels are populated with serious-minded folk extolling their serious superiority on the serious subject of race in the U.S.  It is one of their cornerstone attacks against conservative tenets; if you think / vote conservative, you’re thinking / voting as a racist, for racists, to continually perpetuate racism in the U.S.  The Socialist Party defends this thesis by pointing out the millions of African-Americans and Latinos who capitalism, free markets, and limited government have “left behind”.

Has it really?  Anyone remember Condoleezza Rice, Colin Powel, Alberto Gonzales, Melquíades Rafael "Mel" Martínez, Antonio Banderas, Salma Hayek, Bill Cosby, Eddie Murphy, Ceech Marin, Shakira, Corrin Brown (D, FL; herself a racist, but that is an article for another time), Richard Pryor – and so on?  Did this country really leave these folk behind?  Anyway –

This is not to say that there aren’t racists in this country – it would be ignorant of me to think so and I’m not; they exist and truly are the last of the Neanderthals (if that’s not a racist comment against Neanderthals).  Racism is still alive in this country but it is not so well; it is not in its death-throes as some would suggest, but neither is it institutionalized any more (“3/5 Persons,” anyone?).

When we look at what the Socialists actually claim to stand for, we realize their ‘race card’ is colored with only African-American and Latino hues.  For all its bloviating, blogging, and bragging, the Socialist Party sees only three races in the U.S:  African-American, Caucasian, and Latino.  What of Jews?

Do you remember when Ann Coulter made her comment about wanting to see Jews become Christian?  There was so much “outrage” and “indignation”.  Folk from far and wide were sounding the dirge over her career as a conservative commentator asserting she had finally gone “too far” (just like they flapped over the zinger she delivered to Limousine Liberal, John Edwards).  Like SCHIP was not really about children (but about back-dooring socialized health care), the Socialist’s tizzy over Ms. Coulter’s remarks were not about protecting Jews; it was all and only about trying to slime a staunch, popular, conservative for which there is no socialist equal (I guess Susan Estrich is in the same field, but she has a long way to go if she’s to be taken seriously).  The socialist party doesn’t care a whit for Jews; I don’t think it ever has.

If I were Jewish, I think I’d be deeply offended that these folk tried to use my race as a means and method to slime an effective political opponent; I'm not and cannot think to speak for them.

One thing that is obvious by now is that President Ahmadinejad is admittedly, fanatically, militantly racist.  He makes the K.K.K look like a bunch of children running around in a cornfield playing “Pin the Tail on Casper the Friendly Ghost.”  Why would our Congress, currently under the regime of Socialists, struggle to condemn a nearly-one hundred year old massacre as genocide when we are facing the reincarnation of Hilter, Stalin, and Mao rolled into one nearly-nuclear racist?

Remember the lines that were drawn when President Ahmadinejad was invited to speak at Columbia University?  You could tell, almost to the person, whether they were Socialist or Conservative by the way he or she felt about that invitation and subsequent speech; Socialists were for, Conservatives against.  There was no hand-wringing, no Code Pink protest, no MoveOn.org libel, no denunciation from any quarter; Socialists weren’t just colorblind in this – they were completely and willfully blind; indeed, the left-stream media continues to give him a pass.

The irony here is that not two weeks later, a noose was tacked to the door of Professor Madonna Constantine  By following the story and watching the socialists come unglued that racism would be so blatantly displayed on such a revered campus, I am left to wonder why.  Then I remember – the professor is African-American.

Ms. Constantine said about this incident, "I am upset that the Teachers College community has been exposed to such an unbelievably vile incident, and I would like us to stay strong in the face of such a blatant act of racism.

"Hanging the noose on my office door reeks of cowardice and fear on many levels. I want the perpetrator to know that I will not be silenced."

Speaking of cowardice and fear, how much bravery and courage does it take to lob a nuclear warhead-tipped missile at Jerusalem and Washington D.C?  I’m all for standing up against racism and squashing it where it’s found but I don’t see Ms. Constantine’s convictions applied to President Ahmadinejad and his intended nuclear holocausts.

President Ahmadinejad's racism may very well spark a nuclear World War III and the Socialists in the U.S. want to talk about a noose.

By their posturing it would seem to me it’s not okay to use racial epitaphs or symbols (like a noose) in relating to a person, but it’s okay to promise their annihilation via a nuclear weapon; it’s not okay to have racial opinions about African-Americans or Latinos but it's ok if the target is Jewish.

How’s that not racist?

Left's Leaning Lunacy

There’s been so much going on lately and I’ve been remiss in my efforts to cover them all.  Of course, no one man can cover and opine about the entire world *all* the time; but I try.  Lately I’ve been preoccupied with disentangling myself from the Google empire.  As a fellow that enjoys all things tech and geek it seemed a natural fit, Google and I.  But I am also a social conservative that believes in things that Google does not – like freedom of speech.  Google has a right to believe what it wants, as do I.  And this week, I executed that right by leaving it and its services behind.  I don’t want my name attached to something so – wrong – as Google.

Now that I’ve made the shift to other services, I can once again turn my attention to the goings on in the world.  And there were many.  Most of this is probably old news by now, but at least I’ll get it out of my system.

Nancy Pelosi and the other socialists sought to directly destabilize Iraq by accusing Turkey of genocide, nearly 100 years after the fact.  Why after all this time would we decide it necessary to make such a proclamation – oh, right; Turkey shares a border with Iraq, and has allowed us to use its land and airspace to support our war efforts in Iraq.  If we could anger the Turks, they would remove their support and we’d have a more difficult time getting material to our troops.  Once again, the Democrats have shown they care nothing for our military by shamelessly trying to push such a denouncement now.  Had it flown it would have done more than embarrass a sitting, war-time President; it would have killed our troops.

So, not only do the socialists want out of Iraq by any means and consequence, they’re willing to kill our own troops to do it.  It’s fine if they don’t support the war and want our troops to come home – I am a Veteran and served to ensure they could continue enjoying that right.  But when they try to take action that aides and comforts our enemy, they’ve gone too far.  Where I’m from we call that treason.

Speaking of going too far -- how about that loser Pete Stark (D, CA) and his tantrum on the floor of the House of Representatives.  Want to know what he said?

"Where are you going to get that money? Are you going to tell us lies like you're telling us today? Is that how you're going to fund the war? You don't have money to fund the war or children. But you're going to spend it to blow up innocent people if we can get enough kids to grow old, enough for you to send to Iraq to get their heads blown off for the president's amusement.

"President Bush's statements about children's health shouldn't be taken any more seriously than his lies about the war in Iraq. The truth is that Bush just likes to blow things up in Iraq, in the United States, and in Congress. I urge my colleagues to vote to override his veto."

Nice, hun?  Ad hominem attacks are against the rule in the House of Representatives.  I wonder if Pete Stark knows that?

Who’s against helping kids?  I can’t think of a single person.  But SCHIP isn’t about helping kids – it’s about backdooring socialized medicine into this country.  The socialists will tell you that’s not true just like they tried to tell you that the last illegal alien reform bill was not amnesty.

Ya'll remember the movie The Karate Kid?  At one point, Mr. Miyagi told Daniel, “No such thing as bad student, only bad teacher. Teacher say, student do.”  If your friendly neighborhood socialist is taking his or her cues from folk like Stark in the House, is it any wonder that the left is in such shoddy shape?

The letter from the socialists in our Senate lying about remarks Rush Limbaugh made on his talk show is now bidding at over $2 million.  Seems the socialists are going to help our troops – whether they want to, or not.

Check out the link to see the signatories; I’m not the least surprised.

Exiled ex-Pakistani prime minister Bhutto was welcomed back to her country by ten thousand supporters and a couple hundred assassins.  They missed.  Pakistan has been a staunch ally in the War on Terror.  Bhutto’s return will be interesting to watch in terms of this global effort.

We’re now in the business of providing birth control for children.  I’m not talking about your seventeen year old “child;” nope.  Maine is now providing birth control pills to 11 year old girls.  Without parental consent or knowledge.  Nice, huh?

Hamline University needs to have its head examined.  Seems a pro-Second Amendment student there espoused his views to a school official via email; the school called the email a threat, placed the student on suspension which can only be reversed when he has sought a mental evaluation.  Note the email was solicited by school officials and was done under the campus guarantee that all opinions are welcome to be discussed openly.  Of course, the way the school is acting, you’d think it was a socialist bulwark.  Why is it that only those opinions that toe the socialist line can be discussed but those of a different stripe are insane?

Wait – remember the Socialist Debate where Joe Biden (D. DE) called the U.S. Citizen who asked about firearms insane?  Think there’s a pattern here?

Does the Democratic / Socialist Party of the U.S. actually believe that gun owners are insane?  Seems that way to me.

And finally, for now, Russian President Vladamir Putin (Vlad the Impaler II /smirks) appears to be fulfilling Biblical prophecy by allying the nations of Islam against Israel by starting with Iran’s nuclear ambitions.

But really – a bill condemning Turkey for genocide nearly one hundred years ago is much, much more important than a Russian-backed Iranian nuclear program with targets in Israel, the U.K., and the U.S. ... today.

No, really.

Bedmates Google and MoveOn.org

It may be time for me to switch all my services (search, email, online office applications, and yes, blog) to some other provider. Indeed, I like the work Google has done on all these things. For all its good, however, I cannot abide corporate sponsored censorship, especially thinly-veiled, obviously-a-sham, censorship.

Google has banned ads critical of MoveOn.org.  Not only has it banned the ads, but it did so for a Republican Senator's re-election campaign. Imagine that. Net neutrality, indeed. Open and unencumbered access to everyone, right?

The ads don't qualify as hate speech, so there's no reason for the banning -- no legal reason, that is. Google's excuse? Copyright infringement. Now, if Google even deigned to notice lil' ol' me, it'd scoff and sneer; what do I know about copyright infringement, anyway? Its big and powerful and rich; I'm just a serf in the online fields to it; unwashed, ignorant. Having read the ads that Sen. Collins wanted to place, I find them no worse than Pepsi saying "We beat Coke 9 out of 10 in national taste tests!" It's rather the same thing and is not copyright infringement.

Google is a fine example of the American Dream - a formidable international organization rising from the minds of a couple college kids with dreams. But look at what they've turned in to. For a couple years I've wondered about Google -- not its size or its plans, but what it stands for and what it represents; the so-called "soft business" of corporate community relations or global citizenship. I feel as though I've peeked under the covers, as it were, and discovered an ugly truth:

Google and MoveOn.org sittin' in a tree; K-I-S-S-I-N-G ...

Mooning Moveon.org; Democratic Slavery

It would seem to me that the socialists (aka Democrats, aka Stalinists, aka liberals, aka progressives, aka anti-Americans, aka hypocrites) are becoming more desperate in their attempts to take from us and reserve only for themselves. They have the gall and temerity to suggest that capitalism is wrong because it breeds greed, corruption, and hate. Thusly accused from behind their capitalism-supplied gated estates in their capitalism-supplied gated communities while shuttling from microphone to microphone via capitalism-supplied limousine, of course. They piously stand silent while generating a nationwide ad hominem attack on General Praetus claiming "First Amendment" protections (really -- did their congressional resolution really mean anything?) and while claiming the First Amendment does not cover satire (remember Al Franken's anti-Fox News book, or Larry Flint?)

Just this week in triptych revelation the socialists proved once again, demonstrating to any clear-thinking American it is not the Constitution they care about; it is only themselves. Speaking of greed and hate, by the way. This has been a banner week, and it's only Wednesday. Let's review:

-- the socialists led by Harry Reid and Nancy Pelosi mounted an offense against Rush Limbaugh because he was referring to a John Kerry-esque "soldier" with a caller to his radio show. (

-- the "hate crimes" bill passed the Senate making it a "hate crime" to speak against homosexuality; watch out you preachers, priests, rabbis, and imams -- following the texts and tenets of your religions may very well land you in jail as an inciter of hate speech and hate crimes.  (

-- and Moveon.org has shown its true colors (and thusly the true colors of all the socialists / Democrats since it is apparently the head of the DNC (BTW, does Howard Dean know he's not the head of the DNC any more?)) by attacking a few small webstores on Cafe Press for exercising their First Amendment rights of free speech. Didn't Moveon.org just exercise its First Amendment rights in the New York Times with the General Praetus ad? (

Where I'm from we call this sort of behavior bullying. When the rules apply differently to different people we call this discrimination. Yes, I said it; the Democratic Party of the U.S. is discriminating against the citizenry of the U.S. This discrimination is not based on race or gender or national origin but on something much more insidious, much more evil; it is based on ideology. If we don't believe as they believe then we are to be contained, caged, and controlled. We have a word for this, too; we call this slavery.

Democrats haven't strayed far from their roots, have they? At the birth of this great country, Democratic slavery was based on race; now Democratic slavery is based on ideology. Still, it doesn't matter on what it's based; socialists / Democrats have been trying to enslave those that are not like them for two hundred thirty-one years. And this week, they've clearly showed us their ongoing intent.

So what should we do about it?
